Now we have DBMail running we can configure Roundcube to connect to it using IMAP. We are hosting our Roundcube on an existing webserver and just setting up a new virtual host for it.
- First download Roundcube
[root@web1 ~]# cd /tmp/ [root@web1 tmp]# wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/roundcubemail/roundcubemail/0.9.2/roundcubemail-0.9.2.tar.gz?r=http%3A%2F%2Froundcube.net%2Fdownload&ts=1373205442&use_mirror=internode
- Next extract the archive and copy it to a a permanent location.
[root@web1 tmp]# mkdir /var/www/html/webmail [root@web1 tmp]# tar -zxvf roundcubemail-0.9.2.tar.gz [root@web1 tmp]# cp -r roundcubemail-0.9.2/* /var/www/html/webmail/
- Once the files are their you can now access the installer in a web browser.
- The installer should be pretty straight forward. You are probably going to want to use the same database settings and the IMAP server should be the same as the server you setup DBMail on.
- Once done you should be able to log into Roundcube
